Week 4. Jan 23-29.

MONDAY, I just had school all day. Which is lame. I woke up in the morning and wrote a paper that was due in History class. When the day comes that I cannot knock out an adequate paper the day of or night before, I will know that I should give up on all my dreams of academia.
TUESDAY, Cree and I went to the first showing of Tangled. $5.25 early bird special is the way to go when you see as many movies as we do. Tangled was absolutely fantastic. I can't believe I waited so long to see it. It is right up there with all the classics in my mind. Just spectacular. No idea what we did after that. And I had video production at night.
WEDNESDAY, stupid, stupid Wednesday. Class 9-10.Work 10.3.Class 4-5:30.Radio 8-10. DRIVING THE NEW CAR THOUGH IT'S SO BOSS. Only, the key doesn't really work and it can take literally half an hour to start. Radio was fine. no creepy guy to be heard of.
THURSDAY, layed around all morning. It was Ken's birthday so we were having a grand ol' time talking and then I had PR class from 1-4. After that, Cree and I hung out for a bit until I went over Ken's to celebrate. I got him this sweater from the Salvation Army that had people playing tennis on it. And a candle. And a poster of Dexter. Alexa and Celina were also at his house. So yeah.
FRIDAY I worked all day. While there I started making an amigurumi sackboy for Ken. It's some little guy from a video game. It included a trip to AC Moore and Joann's. You know it's serious crafting when AC Moore doesn't have all that I need. I also started my River Song Journal. Then I went to Friendly's with Ken and Larry and Alexa. That was.... fine.
SATURDAY, I worked again and finished Ken's Sackboy. Larry came up to the store to see if he can fix my hard drive. Then Cree brought me food. Now I am here at Cree's and it's snowing so I shall sleep here.

Week 3. Jan 16-23

Had the flu Monday and Tuesday and it was the worst ever. I haven't been that sick in at least 8 years. Wednesday was super busy and I wanted to kill everyone. Thurday was whatever. Friday I spent 40 minutes digging my car out of the snow only to have it turn off WHILE I WAS IN DRIVE. So I didn't go to work. But I decided that I am going to make River Song's Journal from Doctor Who so I bought some blue paint. Haven't gotten around to it yet. But I did paint Matthew a MASTERPIECE for his birthday. A big purple square with 17 pennies hot glued to it in the shape of a 17 with "Seventeen Pennies" painted on it in yellow. He turned 17. I am going to jail.
Saturday I helped out at the Speech League tournament at the high school. I ran the mother fucking tab room and it was the coolest shit ever. It was like being God.
Sunday cree and I went to the flea market. Found the best nerd vendor ever. Also bought Matt some things for his birthday. Then we went to the Waffle House and ate and he sat with us and then I gave him his presents. He's wonderful.

Week Two. Jan 10-16.

Another exciting installment of my life.
Back to effing school this week. Mondays are too long and too boring. Advertising class for three hours with Sevensky up there teaching. Then an hour and a half of American History. And then three more hours with Sevensky in Ad Copywriting. Both of the comm classes have all-star casts though, so that's good.
Then on Tuesday I only have one and it is from 6-9 at night so I did nothing all day long (or maybe I did something, I don't actually know). It was great to be reunited with my video production fraaanz. Class was super short because it started snowing like a mother fucker. I REMEMBER WHAT I DID DURING THE DAY. Stacey was dying of some pain in her side so I took care of her; then me, Cree, Rachel and Lee went to the Salvation Army and got some wonderful sweaters.
Wednesday morning, the world was covered in snow and Mwood cancelled everything before noon so I didn't have to go to my first Video Lecture. That was nice. But I did go to work... for a little bit. And then Cree and I went to the other Salvation Army and I got the kind of hipster boots I have been wantinggggggg. It was great. Except the fact that all of a sudden the power steering in my car was gone and I had to drive home from Blakely with it like that. Yeah.
Cree and I then went to the mall to finally get that game she preordered ages ago. And as we were walking down the hall (do you call it the hallway in a mall?) who is the only other person there and walking staight at us?! Matthew's mother. Probably the person in the world who hates me the most. Eye contact was unavoidable so I smiled and said Hi, how're you? And she just said Hello. I am almost certain that that is the only time we have ever exchanged words. YOU TALK ABOUT ME AT YOUR DINNER TABLE BUT YOU WON'T SAY HI TO ME? I am sorry you think I stole your son's innocence or something, but I didn't. Not really. Maybe. BUT I'M A NICE GIRL. I am trying to keep him from becoming a crazy person. And I often talk him away from killing you. So there.
And then I had that History class again. Cree drove me and stayed in her car playing that new game on her DS until I was done.
Wednesday night I slept over Cree's to keep her company while Bob and Sophie were in Canada. Thursday I just had class from 1-4. Hate it already. I am not a fan of the teacher lady and all the big wigs in our department are in the class so I am going to come off like an idiot. Then I went to Lee's basketball game. Yay great, happens all the time. Then I was supposed to go represent the PRSSA at the council of clubs meeting and I ran out of gas right on Woodlawn Street. Right there. I called Cree because my parents would be pissed and then I went home and went right to bed because I hate everyone.
Friday I left work to go hang out with Katie Kearney. That was wonderful. I miss her lots sometimes. She is the Aunt Eileen to my Cindy Sue. It wondrous.
Saturday I worked and then went and saw my cousin Tammy and her two babies. SO MUCH NEWS ABOUT BABIES THIS WEEK. But I won't get into that.

I have decided that I am going to pull a Hayley/Kristina and count things as the year goes on. First in movies I either saw that are in theatres/not on dvd yet.

Week One. Jan 1-9.

Hello, BOW '11. Let's see how long I can keep this up.
I tried to do BEDA this past April and when I failed I was incredibly upset with myself. But that was also one of the hardest months of my life. Finishing my first year at college while my mom was back there in the hospital 1200 miles away. Blogging wasn't the first thing on my mind. But I shall try my hardest to keep up with this. Once a week isn't so bad, even if I write them at work and post them when I'm home. Good luck, Kay. (for future reference, when referring to myself in 3rd person I call myself Kay)

So this week.
I rang in the New Year at my friend Kristina's house on Long Island. It was a jolly good time. We had jello shots and I had some rum and we were so drunk by eight o'clock that I was calling Ken to ask about silly words and Kristina was trying to make a fort in her bathtub. We were endless amusement to everyone else. But then by midnight we were sobered up and it was nice. There were fireworks outside.
Then Kristina came home with me for a couple of days that including doing a whole lot of nothing. But that is what life is for I suppose. We hung out in Ken's basement, got to see Matt, went to Sheetz.

Other than that, I spent the week finishing Doctor Who. Something I have been meaning to do for literally years and some how always managed to put it off. I just finished actually, right before writing this. I feel as though I have filled in a large piece of my nerd puzzle. But a piece I could have done without..? like when you're looking at a puzzle, and you can totally tell what it is, but there's a space missing? That was Doctor Who.

That's it, I guess. School starts on Monday so hopefully it will bring some new excitement.
